Administering Medications Safely in an Ambulatory Surgery Center: Part 2 (CE)

Each year, approximately 1.5 million patients are harmed by medication errors. These preventable drug mistakes occur in healthcare facilities. Most medication errors can be prevented. This course discuss keeping your patients safe from drug errors as well as keeping yourself safe when working with hazardous drugs. Participants will learn about adverse drug events and drug interactions, high-alert medications, and hazardous drugs and other substances, including medical gases.
