Caring for the Patient with Tuberculosis (CE)
Tuberculosis (TB) was once the leading cause of death in the United States, with up to 25% of all deaths attributable to the disease. TB is one of the principal diseases of poverty, being associated with overcrowding and malnutrition. Statistics suggest the ongoing need for vigilance and TB prevention efforts. This course has been designed to help nurses do their part in preventing the spread of TB.
