Health Literacy

The Health literacy course is designed to familiarize you with the concepts of health literacy, low or limited health literacy and how they impact quality, outcomes and costs of healthcare. The course will teach learners to recognize those individuals who are affected by limited health literacy and poor health communication, and the consequences of those factors. In addition, the course offers strategies for assisting in the improvement of health literacy among high risk populations.
