Overview of OASIS-C (CE)

Each year, over 10,800 Medicare certified home health agencies deliver care to nearly 3.5 million beneficiaries during 122 million home visits. The Department of Health and Human Services and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) expect each of these Medicare patients to receive quality care during each home visit. OASIS-C is a standardized tool used by home health providers and agencies to collect and report uniform information about patients receiving Medicare/Medicaid services. This course will provide you with information about the home health nurse's role in healthcare quality measurement.
