Radiation and MRI Safety (CE)

Radiation is a powerful form of energy. In the healthcare setting, this energy may be used to visualize internal structures of the body, diagnose disease and treat certain diseases. Procedures using radiation can save a patient's life. Procedures using radiation can also endanger a patient's life. It can endanger the healthcare worker. This course will discuss safeguards that will help nurses avoid injury to themselves and to their patients.
