Ventilator Safety

According to the American Association for Respiratory Care, most injuries and deaths due to ventilator failure are avoidable. Nurses and healthcare are directly in line with being able to prevent these failures and can improve patient care by knowing how to detect and read signs of complications and system failures. This course will help you prevent critical ventilator events in your facility. Topics to be discussed include strategies for reducing ventilator risk and how to perform a ventilator check.
